Some Americans lament that the feeling of bipartisan good cheer that ensued after Osama's demise and, earlier, 9/11 passed too quickly and our nation's leaders unfortunately returned to their political, bickering, sniping ways. Why can't that unity continue?, some ask. But not me. Can't you see that if it did then the terrorists would win?
