Amazing if True Husker/B1G Game Day Trivia: "Chattanooga Choo-Choo," best known as a song recorded by the Glenn Miller Orchestra, has a rich etymology. The phrase first emerged down south during the Civil War as a colorful regional euphemism for severe gastro-intestinal distress, as in, "Dayum, Jeb, ya'll gonna have to go take on the Yanks in Murfreesboro without me. That moldy hard tack and undercooked pork belly done give me a bad case of the Chattanooga Choo-Choos."

GBR!
