I’m neither a Tea Partier nor a bleeding heart. I’m one of those squishy moderates. But I figure you could find several hundred thousand dollars in loose change by shaking out the cushions in just about any government office in D.C. and that you could walk into any cabinet secretary’s fiefdom and randomly fire every other deputy undersecretary and do absolutely no damage to the republic.
