NU is thinking of following the lead of its Big 10 brethren but doesn’t want to be a complete copycat. So, it’s deciding between This University of Nebraska and That University of Nebraska. A committee comprising representatives of the English and Athletic departments is studying the matter, but it’s off to a slow start, as the English profs in the group have a list of 50 years of assorted athletic department offenses against the language they want to litigate first.
